Narrowing Down

There are many strategies for using the interactive search. One of them is to pick a category, for example sex / age of the person you are trying to find a gift for and to restrict it. Then you select one of the other categories which seems most relevant for your gift giving occasion, or person, etc. and select as many most relevant values in that category. For example if the chosen category is interest and the person likes music, art and fashion select those values and restrict this category too.

(Remember: to select multiple values in a single category you will have to press a modifier key while you are selecting (on some system and or browser combinations). The modifer might be control C or shift or Command key.)

You might want to repeat this process for other categories. If you end up without any results this probably means you restricted too many categories. Unrestrict one or more of them which happen to be the least important at this time and proceed to the next category. The best results are usually obtained by selecting between 15 and 30 values accross all 6 categories, and 1 or 2 of them restricted.

Note: the described process works if you start with any other category. It just depends what is most important factor to you at this time.
