Santa must be organized and so must we. Carefully make your list and keep it year to year to remember what you were given or gave. You may find it very useful to make a holiday notebook to refer to annually. Keep as a handy reference to record peoples sizes, color preferences, interests and dislikes.

Good organization make gift searching fun. Every good detective keeps a little black book and Santa keeps a very, very long list so maybe its time to have a little red gift book. Copy a few pages out of your address book and put them in your gift notes/book to have shipping information handy while shopping.

Get wish lists from everyone. This is not always so easy. You might want to included a few silly wish list requests, ex: "If I won a million dollars in the lottery tomorrow what would you like me to buy you for Christmas."
